Chateau De Versailles

Allthough Versailles was goldtastic, we were ill prepared for the cold, rain, and wind. Fourty-five minutes before opening we showed up with our sundresses and broken umbrella.

A Night at the Eiffel Tower

After dinner at Le Petit Niçois, we walked to the Eiffel Tower. On our way we realized we needed to use the bathroom due to the carafe of rosé. We weaved through the crowd only to find a closed restroom. Being that sooner was better than later we found a patch of bushes. Both of us squated at the same time with the Eiffel Tower glowing above us. We then realized we weren't the only ones with the same bright idea. It was an event to remember.

Dinner at Le Petit Niçois

Saturday night we went out to dinner at Le petit Niçois. First we had fish soup (which could be a meal in itself) with Rosé, then delicious sea bass and cod fish. The experience of a Parisian restaurant was wonderful. Thanks to Patrick and Lynnde, our friends at Z Cuisine.

We are here in Paris!

It was a long journey to get to this point; many long lines to wait in. Our airline was having some problems yesterday and some flights were cancelled. Luckily, our flight was not one of them. However, it was delayed an hour so we did not make our original flight to Paris. We were fortuate anough to be rebooked for another flight a couple hours later. Once on the Paris streets our landlord stumbled upon us on the sidewalk near our apartment. She recognized us from our pictures. Lucky us! We now have an amazing little apartment for a week, which is perfect for us.

We have not slept in 27 hours, but we are so excited to be here! We are going to eat dinner and go to sleep soon.

LOVE In NYC!

Shelby and I are on our way! We have started our trip in NYC staying with aunt Karen in the east village.
Today the main event was visiting MOMA. we experienced lots of inspiring art work. I am also impressed with the modern architecture. Big white walls, wide open spaces, clean marble, and a nice use of space. MOMA!

We also visited Apple's uptown store which was so packed with people looking at new iphones!

We will be getting on a plane to Europe tomorrow evening. We keep jumping up and down with anticipation.
