What I'm Reading on the T
So this seems to be the book that every woman and her mother is reading. When I first opened Eat Pray Love on the Red Line, I noticed two young ladies across from me reading it as well. Setting "Oprah hype" aside, it's a joy to read. Author, Elizabeth Gilbert is delightfully honest, sensitive and funny. She manages to be vulnerable and self exposing without self deprecation. She takes the reader on a physical and spiritual journey with a healthy dose New York sensibility. I'm gonna have to go with Oprah on this one.

New Years Inspirations
Because new years resolutions are so 2007, I've compiled a list of topics, thoughts and things that I'd like to focus on for the new year.
-party planning for Spring
-taking as many stairs as I can find
-bird watching (even in winter)
-cut paper and stencil evolution
-rediscovering the joy of reading
-silver spray paint
-more self praise, less self criticism
-sharing my excitement about the elections
-rethinking materialism
-rethinking spirituality
-remember more extensions at work
-expand my tea collection
-continue to ask: why am I not more of a writer?
-decide which country i would like to visit first
-dark chocolate
-more documenting of the ICA experience
-a global view
-stretch (body and mind)
